Assembly/Line Crew Job Description

A member of the Pure Tacos line crew must be able to greet each customer in a warm and welcoming way and turn all prepared foods into an appetizing and visually pleasing meal for the customer while taking the customer's order. Satisfaction of the following tasks is required:

  • » Work quickly while maintaining a smile. The Line Crew is the face of Pure Tacos, this means people skills are essential.
  • » Love of food. The Line Crew turns a bunch of ingredients into the final product. A passion for food translates into a better prepared product.
  • » Portion food appropriately. The Line Crew will be trained to be precise in preparing the customer's order so that the customer can expect consistent service from visit to visit.
  • » Work successfully in a fast paced and sometimes stressful environment. If you love having that feeling where you are just finishing a work shift when it feels like you just started, the Pure Tacos Line is the perfect workplace. You will never be bored.
  • » Market our food. During non-peak serving times, you may be serving samples of our food to potential customers passing by the location. The Line Crew must be able to encourage these potential customers to try our food without intimidating them.
Qualifications: As you see, there are no special requirements to be a member of the Line Crew other than an ability to speak English, lift heavy objects periodically and work in a fast paced, hot and sometimes stressful kitchen. We can train you for the rest. However, we can't train a love of food and people, which will make your work with Pure Tacos much more enjoyable and in the end serve the customer much better.
