Pure Tacos is a new quick casual restaurant that sells premium tacos, nachos and salads to customers hungry for chef-quality food served fast. The first location opened in May, 2010 on one of the busiest boardwalks on the U.S. east coast, where the founders of Pure Tacos saw an opportunity in a wasteland of unhealthy and bland food: why can't great food be made fresh and served quickly from a small space?

Even though fusion flavors are a vital part of pure tacos menu, the menu's foundation is authentic Mexican cuisine and street food flavors. The bland fast food Mexican to which you are probably accustomed is only a shadow of the vibrant foods of Mexico. Pure Tacos flavors will seem to you a foreign and wonderful thing if you have never had an authentic experience, but they are simply derived from authentic recipes with fresh and vibrant twists. And for those of you who are adventuresome, we change your perceptions of tacos and nachos with food combinations you have never seen, such as our cheeseburger taco. In the end, we hope to exceed your expectations with a time tested meal from our authentic or classic menus or food that is completely new to you from our fusion menu.

Fast food restaurants serve a great purpose: sell mediocre food at a low price. Table service restaurants instead use food as a vehicle to sell you an experience. However, the ultimate product is lacking in both instances. The quality of fast food is poor, while most sit down restaurants offer their customers little value. Pure Tacos mission is to offer a great food experience you would get at a high-end restaurant but at a good value so customers can enjoy their food without worrying about cost. Great food should be accessible to people who don't want to pay the high price of an elaborate food experience.
